Perkins policy is “get the people then get the work”. This approach has allowed Perkins to be more selective in its recruitment and has resulted in the company retaining a high quality workforce. The company currently employs over 100 direct employees and utilizes over 300 sub contractors.
FINANCIAL
The Perkins group of companies is backed by significant financial resources including a substantial portfolio of commercial and industrial properties in Bunbury, Busselton and Perth.
Company controlled assets provide security sufficient to enable Perkins Builders to carry an order book of over $400 million.
PLANT
Perkins range of company owned plant is extensive and includes mobile and tower cranes, telehandlers, excavators, front end loaders, bobcats, generators, prime movers, trailers, flat top and tip trucks. The company also owns its own temporary site accommodation (approximately 40 units).
All plant is maintained at the company’s plant yard in Bunbury.
The 2 hectare Bunbury yard and office complex includes a joinery workshop and small steel fabrication facility.
Perkins plans to commence construction of new company owned office, warehouse and yard complexes in Perth and Busselton, where prominent sites have recently been purchased.
