Being a locally owned and operated businesses in both the South West and Perth regions of Western Australia, Perkins recognises our corporate social responsibility to local and global communities. As such, we have chosen to partner with a number of reputable and like-minded organisations in order to meet our responsibilities in a meaningful and innovative way.
SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
As a proud locally owned business, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Over the years, we’ve partnered with a range of local charities, schools, and sporting clubs to help make a positive impact where it matters most — right here at home.
Whether it’s sponsoring junior sports teams, donating to local fundraisers, or volunteering at community events, we’re committed to being more than just a business — we’re a neighbour, a supporter, and a partner in building a stronger community.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible organisations and individuals who make our town a better place to live, work, and play.
Some of the local initiatives we’re proud to support include:
-
Mates in Construction WA – Fly the Flag Day
-
South West Slammers Basketball
-
The Christmas Party, Perth
-
Manea Senior College Equity Scholarships
-

Tabitha Foundation
The Tabitha Foundation operates to help the poorest people in Cambodia through programmes that focus on personal and financial development. Since 1994, the Tabitha Foundation has reached over half a million people, in an attempt to break the vicious cycle of extreme poverty.
In February 2017, Perkins sent 10 employees to Cambodia, to participate in the House Building Project run by the Tabitha Foundation. Following on from the success of this trip, we then sent another group of 9 employees in November 2018. This program saw Perkins staff fund and build 18 houses for families living below the poverty line over the two trips.
