This civil construction work at the Bunbury Port has changed the face of the area with these new silos making a commanding presence in the area.

Perkins constructed 6 silo’s of a massive 23m diameter and 30m high, with further structures upto 40m, hopper bins, concrete transfer tunnels, a concrete elevator pit (that is an astounding 10.5m long, 7.5m wide and 4m below ground), access and exit ramps, office and control buildings plus conveyor footings and a conveyor to connect the facility to the existing ship loaded to Berth 3 for exporting.

In total, over 4300m3 concrete was poured to create the structures on this site.
